Come gather in community to mark the Summer Solstice, to celebrate all the abundance that the past season has yielded, and to release anything that no longer serves. We will start the evening off by sitting in circle to connect and create a warm, safe space together before moving into a guided group pranayama breathwork practice. This form of breathwork has the capacity to powerfully shift and release stuck or stagnant energy, making it a wonderful tool for anyone seeking healing in mind, body, or spirit. Practice will include a sivasana period and will be followed by a brief circle to share, integrate, and ground before we close.
**Because pranayama breathwork has the potential to be activating to the nervous system, it may be contraindicated for anyone with cardiovascular problems, high or abnormal blood pressure, epilepsy, Bipolar Disorder, active addictions, or a history of aneurysms, seizures, mania, hypomania, paranoia, or psychotic episodes.
Anyone with any of these conditions is welcome to join, and an alternate, deactivating form of breath will be offered.
